[REVIEW] Commleaf Rose Sleeping Mask

Good evening, darlings! I hope you all are having a fantastic Wednesday. The long weekend is upon us and I’m ready to kick back and mask away while I catch up on my favourite netflix series.

Firstly, I would like to thank Charles Kim from Commleaf for reaching out to me and giving me the opportunity to try and test out this product to it’s full potential. I received all of these products 2 months ago and got to try each and every one of them. Today, I will be reviewing the Commleaf Rose Sleeping Mask. I absolutely love sleeping masks and if you guys have not tried out sleeping masks out before, I would strongly like to suggest you to do so. Think of them as an all in one thick moisturizer enriched with nourishing and hydrating ingredients. You will wake up feeling refreshed and so will your skin!

I have used this mask twice every week since I have received it and I am so happy with the results that I had to come on my blog *for once* and share my thoughts on this lovely product.

My thoughts:

I really can appreciate minimalist packaging especially for skincare because I do believe that the consumer should be able to see the ingredients and what they are using. Skincare with busy packaging can be difficult to read.

The first thing I noticed when I dispensed this mask out from the tube, was that it had a very jam-jelly like consistency and beautiful red tint to it. As you massage it into your skin, you will notice the red tint is still there but not as noticeable. It has a faint rose-herbal scent to it. I wasn’t sent a silicone brush with this mask however I used my fingers to apply this sleeping mask and it worked just fine. I would leave this mask on overnight and rinse it the following morning. I am very pleased to see that this product does not break me out nor has an unbearable strong scent to it because I can be very sensitive to scents. My skin feels plump, supple and refreshed from every use!

If you cosDNA these ingredients, all of them are in the safe side of hazard scale and there are no silicones in this product. There are a handful of sleeping masks in the market that contain some sort of silicone in them to fake the appearance of “blurred skin”. I personally don’t have any issues against silicone based products but I don’t prefer them for various reasons – they can clog the skin, be irritating and also pill on the skin.

I would like to suggest this to everyone simply because it is an all around great sleeping mask. It brightens, fights signs of aging, heals scars and counters acne.
