[REVIEW] IUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum

Happy Mother’s Day, friends! Remember, today is not just a day to celebrate for our mothers, grandmothers, great mothers and aunts presence but we should remember to keep in touch and love them on the regular basis.
I talk to my mom every single day, I have no excuse to not call her unless I’m really sick. Even at work, I will call to check up on her.

I was given this product to try out by iunik and 2 others that will share later on this week~ It’s quite funny how I chose to review this product first because I’ve used the other iunik products before using this one.

I find it absolutely refreshing to see companies such as iunik being so transparent and honest about their brand and products. You don’t have many cosmetic brands who openly share the ingredients of their products. Usually you would have to search it up on google/third party website the sells it.

My thoughts:

This serum has a light green hue to it however it is odourless, spreads easily and leaves no residue behind. I’m VERY picky when it comes to serums because a lot of “nourishing” ones always seem to leave this tackiness to my skin and this does not do that. I’ve used this serum particularly on my breakouts as a spot treatment and it’s superb. Sometimes my pimple patches do absolutely nothing for me so I have to reach serums and ointments to cure and calm down the inflammation. I used this serum 4 nights in a row and my pimples near my chin have diminished. Within the 2nd and 3rd night, my pimples have shrunk, no more redness and faded beautifully. You can still see that it’s healing but hey, better than having an angry red pimple sitting there. FANTASTIC!

Overall:

Texture: 5/5 – Watery and lightweight

Scent: 5/5 – Odorless! I was hoping for a light tea tree scent. Nope, nothing! Great for those who are sensitive to scents or dislikes scents.

Price: 5/5 – Reasonable and lasts a long time

Performance: 5/5 – As always, you must be consistent with these sort of products until the pimple has diminished significantly

Packaging: 5/5 – Simple and easy to read – they are not extra with their packaging and it even states the claims at the front of the bottle! The dropper is well made and super easy to control. It doesn’t dispense too much product or too little.

1. Powerful Relief
2. Soothing Care
3. Natural Moisturizing
4. Whitening & Wrinkle Care

Until next time, friends!
Have a good day~

[REVIEW] PURITO Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

Hey guys!
I’m here to share my thoughts on the Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum. I received this product from eopenmarket and they were generous enough to send me another product as well which I will review later on this month.

Here are some websites that sell it:
Roseroseshop
eopenmarket

This is vegetable and medicinal herb that is often used for medicine and also to heal wounds.

Product Claims:

2. Brightening your complexion

Here is the list of the ingredients used in this product:

As you can see in the ingredient list, it shares what most of these ingredients are and how they serve their purpose for their product. I highly respect companies such as Purito for keeping their when it comes to their branding, product description and products. There are so many skincare brands in the market today and it can be quite overwhelming picking and choosing what might be best and beneficial for your skin needs. I love how Purito products are suitable for all skin types.

Personally, the three main ingredients that caught my attention this product had was:
1. Niacinamide – stabilizes and tightens your skin barrier + visibly shrinks the appearance of pores and diminishes skin dullness
2. Ceramide – nourishes the skin and plumps up the skin’s appearance
3. Madecassic acid – This is an antioxidant and helps replenish the skin’s surface.

When is it best to use a product like this?
1. To prevent future break outs
2. To minimize and reduce the inflammation of existing blemishes
3. After sun-care
4. Aging skin – Reduce the signs of aging
5. Inflamed. dehydrated and angry skin
6. Everyday Skincare
7. Those who enjoy non sticky, watery and hydrating serum formulas

My thoughts:
The texture and quality is phenomenon! It’s this hybrid watery-thick gel consistency and it doesn’t leave any residue, odor or colour on the skin.  Did I mention that it does not leave a sticky residue?! I absolutely hate products that leave sticky residue. Luckily, I don’t have to worry about that with this product because it doesn’t leave anything unnecessary behind once massaged in.
I believe that because this product is so gentle on the skin, I don’t see any harm using this daily. Incorporating this into your skincare would be beneficial because it’s reasonably priced and effective with continuous use. I did not see amazing results until after the 1st month of usage and I continued using it after. I personally did not see any brightening results however what I saw was my inflamed, angry breakouts shrunk after 2-3 days of usage. This is kind of breakout where a simple pimple patch won’t shrink away so I turned to this serum. Not only the inflammation went down, you can visibly see my breakouts shrinking by size, redness was reduced significantly and it didn’t hurt when I touched it. I love how Purito isn’t extra with their packaging and focuses on the product’s integrity rather than spending so much time making the packaging look amazing and skipping out on the quality of the content inside. The packaging is simple, the pump is easy to dispense and it doesn’t make a mess. Now, don’t get me wrong – I love me some extra packaging but particularly for makeup. Skincare-wise, I could hardly careless how it looks aesthetically. All I want is a product that works and does what it claims.

Overall:

Texture: 5/5
Scent: 5/5 – Has this VERY light citrus, earthy scent to it but that quickly goes away
Price: 4/5
Performance: 4/5 – You need to be consistent with this product and you will see results
Packaging: 5/5

Until next time, friends.
Cheers!
