I’ve been a long-time fan of First Aid Beauty products because of how effective and mild their products are. They’ve been in the industry for over a decade now and they believe in creating skincare products that are catered to all ages, all skin types, and the brand was founded, Lilli Gordon. She wanted to recreate drugstore classics with more advanced formulations and luxurious consistencies. She believes in creating effective, irritant-free skincare that does not have greasy finishes. There’s pretty much a skincare line catered to everyone of any skin type from face to body care, you name it!

All of their products are allergy-tested and free of parabens, fragrance, and harsh chemicals, and perfect for even the most sensitive skin.

My first encounter with their products was back in 2013 when I first got into skincare and I had a lot of unexplained skin flareups and I was desperate in finding a product that could work for my skin. My face often would get really dry and it would really hurt so I gave the ultra repair cream a try on my face and within 3 days of continuous use and reapplication, my barrier was restored and I wasn’t in pain. Also, I would like to note that there is eucalyptus oil in this product so if you’re sensitive to do, please be aware and use it with caution. I personally had no negative side effects and am still using this product. I truly do believe their formulations are effective and they have a lot of frequent sales so definitely keep an eye out for them. Don’t forget to turn on your eBates/honey application to save extra dollars off of your purchase. These applications are available for both android and apple. You can find the extensions on google chrome web store. They’re absolutely free to download and they save you $$$.

I also have been using their cannabis + oat oil a ton and it’s so moisturizing and nourishing on the skin. It’s probably one of the most comfortable wearing facial oils I’ve used and I will repurchase it.

FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask

What it is: A creamy, calming, and soothing leave-on mask that helps nurture stressed, dry, and irritated skin.

This is mask is ideal for those who have dry, dehydrated and normal skin. It combats against dryness, redness, dehydration, dullness and uneven skin tone. This product is also vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.

First Aid Beauty never fails to make fantastic products and I really am impressed with the list of ingredients for these and I’m excited to try them out for myself. If you guys enjoy these product showcases, definitely let me know so I can share more in the near future.

My thoughts

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how adorable these creams are? The details of the packaging are so fun and colourful. The lid looks like an ice cream shape appearance to it and the tube has a cute illustration of an ice cream cone. I own a lot of cute products but I don’t think I have anything like this. I have products that smell and look like dessert but this is a whole new level of cuteness. I’m really picky with body creams because I don’t like sticky consistencies or too thick because it’s hard to apply and break the product down in the skin so I prefer body products that are more water-like gel/jelly, lightweight feeling on the skin.

Overall

Texture: 5/5 – It has a milky whipped gel consistency and it blends so nicely into the skin, it’s almost like you don’t need to put so much effort into it applying the product in. It’s very moisturizing and does not feel sticky on the skin. If you’re someone who doesn’t like body butter and thick textures, this is the perfect product for you because it’s so lightweight on the skin, you almost feel like it’s not even on your skin. There’s no pilling, residue from these and almost have a “balm-like” finish to them, which is so cool because it starts off a gel then transforms into this moisturizing balm.

Scent: 5/5 – The scents are really nice and light smelling, you won’t get a headache from smelling these because they’re lightly fragranced and they all smell like fruity desserts.

Price: 4/5 – For 150g of product, $17.66 is pretty affordable because there’s so much product in here! I think it would take me 3 months to finish one tube or maybe even longer. It’s a fun and cute product and I think it would an excellent gift for yourself or your loved ones who enjoy cute skincare products.

Performance: 5/5 – It works nicely and it’s definitely an effective product and doesn’t just only look nice.

Packaging: 5/5 – How can you say no to this? This is so cute and makes a fantastic gift for you and your loved ones. Christmas may have past, however, there are always birthdays and Valentine’s day is right by the corner too! Share this with your sweethearts in your life.

Overall: 5/5 – I really appreciate the thought and effort they put into this cream. I personally am really attracted to cute packaging and I love how they made skincare fun and exciting to look at and use. Everytime I see these on my desk, I smile because they’re adorable.
